It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we mourn the sudden passing of Cristy Nguyen, a bright and beautiful young woman from Guelph, Ontario. Cristy passed away unexpectedly on October 15th, just days after celebrating her 21st birthday.
Cristy was full of life, kindness, and promise. She was studying to become an esthetician at Conestoga College and was on track to graduate next year — a dream she worked hard to achieve. Her passion, creativity, and dedication to her craft were clear to everyone who knew her. She had so many goals, so much potential, and a future full of light.
Cristy was deeply loved by her mother and brother, and her passing has left an unimaginable hole in their lives. To her friends, she was more than just someone to laugh with — she was a source of support, comfort, and joy. Her presence made everything brighter. She had a way of making people feel seen and loved, and that gift is what will be remembered most.
No one ever expects to lose someone so young. The pain of losing a daughter, a sister, a best friend at just 21 is something no family should have to bear.
