With incredibly heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Todd A. Gerrard, a beloved brother, dear friend, and cherished member of the Markham community, who tragically left us on October 16, 2025.
Todd wasn’t just a brother — he was the best brother anyone could ask for, a loyal friend, and a bright light in the lives of all who knew him. His loss has left a deep emptiness that words cannot fully express. Life will never be the same without his kindness, humor, and unwavering support.
Born and raised in Markham, Todd attended Markham District High School and remained rooted in the community he loved so much. His warmth and genuine spirit touched the hearts of everyone around him. Todd was someone who made you feel valued and cared for, with a smile that could light up any room and a presence that brought comfort during difficult times.
His friendship was a gift — steadfast and true, always there when you needed him most. Todd had an incredible way of lifting others up and reminding us all of the power of love and loyalty.
Though his time with us was cut tragically short, the memories he created, the laughter he shared, and the love he gave will live on forever in the hearts of his family, friends, and community.
Todd, you are deeply loved and profoundly missed. We hold you close in our hearts, now and always.
