Jamie Russell Obituary, Oklahoma City, OK — A Beautiful Soul and Bright Light Gone Too Soon

With deep sorrow and love, we remember Jaime Rae Russell, who passed away on October 15, 2025, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Born on March 7, 2001, in Norman, Jaime was a beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, and friend whose radiant spirit touched the lives of everyone she met.

A 2019 graduate of Casady School, Jaime continued her education at the University of Mississippi, earning her degree in 2023. During her time at Ole Miss, she was a proud member of the Iota-Omega Chapter of Alpha Phi, where she formed lifelong friendships and served with heart and dedication. Her love for learning, her leadership, and her kindness were evident in every aspect of her life.

Jaime’s faith was a guiding light. As a cherished member of Chisholm Heights Baptist Church, she lived her life with purpose, compassion, and grace. She was the kind of person who made others feel welcome and seen — someone who led with kindness, always thinking of others before herself.

She had a special love for animals, especially her beloved dog, Moose, and supported causes close to her heart, including the Oklahoma Humane Society. Her gentle spirit and love for all living things were just part of what made her so special.

Jaime is deeply missed by her loving parents, Melissa and Kane Russell; her siblings, Kayden Russell, Kaeley Russell, and Neeley Cook and her husband, Holden Cook. She is also survived by her grandparents, Connie Wilson, Helen and Robert Sisco, and Anita and Roy Russell, as well as a large extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Charlie Wilson, and her great-grandmother, V.E. “Nanny” Sisco.

A memorial service to celebrate Jaime’s life will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Chisholm Heights Baptist Church, 2243 West State Highway 152, Mustang, Oklahoma 73064.

Jaime Rae Russell will forever be remembered for her warmth, grace, and unwavering love. Her light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who were lucky enough to know her.

Forever loved. Never forgotten.
