Jeanette Espitia Obituary, Death; The pregnant woman who died late Thursday night after being struck by a sedan while crossing a South Side street has been identified.
The accident happened after 10:30 p.m. on Southeast Military Drive near South Presa Street.
According to the family, Jeanette Espitia and her unborn child were hit while crossing a roadway with a young child. The child was not injured.
The driver of the sedan stopped to help, and charges have not been filed. Espitia leaves behind three young children.
