Domestic Homicide Under Investigation in Alliance, Nebraska
Alliance, Neb. – Authorities in Alliance are investigating a domestic homicide following a fatal shooting on Big Horn Avenue late Wednesday morning.
At approximately 11:10 a.m., Alliance Public Safety Dispatchers received a 911 call reporting that a woman had been shot outside a residence at 708 Big Horn Avenue.
Responding officers from the Alliance Police Department and the Box Butte County Sheriff’s Office arrived on scene within minutes. They discovered a female victim deceased outside the home and a male nearby suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.
The man was transported to Box Butte General Hospital with life-threatening injuries. Investigators believe the male suspect shot the female victim before turning the gun on himself.
The case remains an active and ongoing investigation. No further details have been released at this time.
