Ballston Neighborhood Incident: Arlington Man Dies Following Rooftop Fall

A tragic incident unfolded in the Ballston neighborhood Wednesday night when Arlington police were called to reports of a man on the roof of an apartment tower.

According to law enforcement, the man was located atop the building near N. Stuart Street and Wilson Boulevard. Despite police presence at the scene, the man leapt from the roof to his death, in front of shocked and devastated onlookers.

The Arlington County Police Department issued a public advisory shortly after the incident, warning residents of activity in the area:
