The Laredo Police Department is actively searching for a teenager in connection with the fatal shooting of 20-year-old Roy Villarreal over the weekend.
Authorities announced on Sunday that a murder warrant has been issued for 19-year-old Victor Manuel Valadez, identified as the suspect in the incident. The shooting occurred around 1 a.m. on Saturday in the 100 block of W. Clark Boulevard. Villarreal was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Police are urging anyone with information about Valadez’s whereabouts to contact the Laredo Police Department at 956-795-2800. All tips will be kept confidential.
