Palm Bay, Florida — Authorities in Palm Bay are conducting an active investigation after two people were found dead inside an apartment at the Ascent of Palm Bay complex on the evening of Saturday, October 5, 2025.
According to the Palm Bay Police Department, officers were dispatched to the apartment complex following a report of unresponsive individuals. Upon arrival, officers discovered two deceased adults inside one of the units. While the deaths are being treated as *suspicious*, officials emphasized that the case is **not being investigated as a homicide** at this time.
Police have not yet released the identities of the deceased individuals, pending notification of their next of kin. The cause and manner of death are currently under investigation by detectives in collaboration with the Brevard County Medical Examiner’s Office.
