Luzerne County Coroner Dion Fernandes identified the motorcyclist killed in a crash on North River Street in Plains Twp. on Friday morning.
Erick Velez, 37, of Exeter, was pronounced dead shortly after arrival at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Fernandes said. Plains Twp. police and state police are investigating the crash involving a motorcycle and a Jeep that took place at the intersection of Hancock Street near Burger King.
