Latricia Green Brown Obituary, Death: Detroit Police Search for Ex-Husband After Fatal Hospital Shooting
Detroit police are actively searching for Mario Green, who allegedly entered **Henry Ford Hospital** on Friday morning and fatally shot his ex-wife, Latricia Green Brown, in the basement of the facility, according to *WXYZ Detroit.
Authorities say Green, 53, confronted Latricia, who was an employee at the hospital, before pulling out a gun and shooting her following an argument. Despite immediate response efforts, she tragically succumbed to her injuries.
The incident prompted a temporary lockdown of the hospital, which has since been lifted. Police Chief Todd Bettison noted that it remains unclear how Green gained access to restricted areas of the hospital.
Assistant Police Chief Charles Fitzgerald revealed that Latricia had previously filed for a personal protection order against Green about a month ago, but it had not yet been served.
After the shooting, Green fled the scene in a 2011 Dodge Charger, which was later located in Detroit on Friday afternoon. He is considered armed and dangerous as the manhunt continues.
Latricia Green Brown is remembered by family, friends, and colleagues as a dedicated healthcare worker and a cherished loved one whose life was tragically cut short.
