Dylan Deibel Obituary: Wayzata High School Student Remembered After Passing

The Wayzata school community is grieving the loss of Dylan Deibel, a student at Wayzata High School, who has tragically died by suicide.

School officials confirmed Dylan’s passing this week, offering condolences to his family, friends, classmates, and teachers during an incredibly difficult time. Support services have been made available on campus to provide counseling and emotional care for students and staff.

“Losing a member of our school community is heartbreaking,” a school spokesperson said. “We encourage students to lean on each other, their families, and our staff for support as we work through this loss together.”

Dylan is remembered as a kind and bright presence among peers, whose absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him. Friends describe him as thoughtful and compassionate, someone who brought light into the lives of others.
