Police have launched an investigation following a stabbing incident at Charlestown Square on Wednesday morning.

At approximately 30 Pearson Street, Charlestown, officers from NSW Police responded to reports that a person had been stabbed in the chest. Emergency services quickly arrived on the scene, and the injured individual received immediate medical attention.
