Monroeville Mourns the Loss of Kintrill “YnicKing” Stallworth

Monroeville, Alabama, is mourning the tragic loss of Kintrill Stallworth, affectionately known as “YnicKing,” who was fatally shot Thursday night. A beloved son, brother, and friend, Kintrill’s passing has left his family, friends, and community heartbroken.

Kintrill was known for his kindness, respect, and positive spirit. He worked at M4I, studied at the University of Louisiana Monroe, and was a proud graduate of Monroe County High School. To those who knew him, Kintrill was more than just a student or coworker—he was a shining light who carried himself with humility and care for others.

“This has hit our entire school hard. He was a good young man. Always polite and well-mannered,” one teacher shared. “Looking around my classroom, I can still see him sitting there, and in the cafeteria, I can see him at the table. All the drama and violence needs to stop. THIS should never have happened. When is enough going to be enough? King should have been at school today, living his life, making his plans.”

The Monroeville community now grieves a life cut far too short, while also grappling with the painful reminder of the senseless violence that has claimed another promising future.

Kintrill will be remembered for his gentle spirit, his drive, and the love he shared with those around him. His absence will forever be felt in the classrooms, workplaces, and hearts of everyone who knew him.

Rest in peace, Kintrill “YnicKing” Stallworth. You will never be forgotten.
