Emergency services were called to Edwards Street in Reservoir on Friday morning after reports of a medical emergency.
Witnesses said police, ambulance crews, and fire brigade units arrived at the scene around 10:30 a.m. to assist a man suffering from a suspected massive heart attack. Despite urgent efforts by paramedics, the man tragically died at the scene.
Authorities have not yet released the man’s identity, and no suspicious circumstances are believed to be involved.
Local residents expressed shock at the sudden incident, with several noting the large emergency response in the area.
Victoria Police confirmed a report will be prepared for the coroner.
