Kenny Schultheis of Lima, OH, Elida High School Student-Athlete, Passes Away

Kenny Schultheis, who was set to be a junior this year at Elida High School, has passed away. Kenny was a bright, kind, and well-loved member of our school community, and his loss leaves a profound void in our hearts.

Kenny’s family, friends, teammates, and all who knew him are in our thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time. We understand that this news may be overwhelming and deeply upsetting for students and staff alike.

We want everyone to know that support is available. If any student or staff member wishes to speak with a counselor, please do not hesitate to reach out. You can email our high school social worker, Stacy McAdams, at smcadams@elida.k12.oh.us, or call the high school office at 419-338-6801 to arrange for support and guidance.

Losing a student so young is a tragedy that affects us all. It reminds us of the importance of coming together as a community to support one another through grief. We encourage everyone to lean on each other and seek help when needed.

Our thoughts remain with Kenny’s family and loved ones during this unimaginable time. May his memory live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
