Officials with the Greater Manchester Police say more than half a dozen people were stabbed on Saturday morning, August 9. The incident happened at approximately 6:55 am at the Town Centre on Wigan Lane.
Multiple Greater Manchester emergency response teams and several ambulances are responding to the incident. Multiple scenes are being cordoned off by officials. Locals have been urged to avoid Wigan LN.
Victims were located in several spots, including the bingo hall, the entrance, and the car park. A person of interest has been taken into custody.
