A Nashville, Tennessee-born Brunswick, Georgia, man has been identified as the individual who was found dead this week.

McCullough Pickens died by suicide
McCullough Pickens, 27, passed away in an apparent suicide this week. The incident happened on the Sidney Lanier Bridge in Glynn County, Georgia. Law enforcement was called to the bridge after a man jumped into the water. According to officials, the victim—now identified as Pickens was pulled from the water after hours of searching.
Pickens was pronounced deceased by responding EMS. He was a graduate of Belmont University and Glynn Academy. Pickens was the beloved son of Morris and Suzanne Pickens and an adorable brother to his three siblings (Emerson, Worth, and Selus).
McCullough was a brilliant student at Glynn Academy. He single-handedly helped his school qualify for the 2015 GISA State Tournament. He also earned All-State honors as a junior. McCullough majored in business at Belmont University.
McCullough was born on May 26, 1998. He is survived by his parents, siblings, uncles, aunties, friends, and colleagues. A memorial date will be announced in the future.
