Richard Scott Nemrow, lovingly known as “Scott,” passed away peacefully at his home in Lindon, Utah, on Sunday, July 27th, 2025, at the age of 45. His departure leaves a deep void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him, but his legacy of generosity, passion, and transformation will live on forever.

Born on April 8th, 1980, Scott came into the world with a big personality and an even bigger heart. From an early age, it was clear that Scott was a force to be reckoned with—full of energy, charm, and an adventurous spirit that would define the course of his life.
Whether offering his graham crackers to another child or giving away his homework packet to a classmate, young Scott revealed his natural instinct to care for others, a trait that never left him.
Growing up in Southern California and Utah, Scott developed a love for the beach, especially boogie boarding and body surfing with his dad, sister, and brothers. He showed an early streak of independence when, at just 16, he bought his first car—a Chevy Nova—for $500.
During high school, Scott juggled various jobs, including working at the Training Table, Copeland Sports, and even on a farm with his Uncle Dave. Though he was known to frustrate his teachers, he graduated from Timpview High School in 1998, famously earning his diploma after cleaning out baseball dugouts for a final assignment.
Scott went on to serve a full-time mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Frankfurt, Germany—a transformative experience that shaped his values and perspective. Shortly after returning, he met and married Anjerie Jarman in the Salt Lake Temple.
Together, they had four beautiful daughters: Avrie Jean, Cynthia June, Faye Ann, and Tess Anjerie. These girls were the joy of Scott’s life, and his love for them was unwavering.
After the heartbreak of divorce, Scott went through a period of struggle but found new hope and love when he met and married Jenni Mella Miller. With Jenni came her two children, Christian and Ellery, and later, their daughter Scottie Quinn was born.
Scott embraced his blended family with open arms, and his love for his children—biological and step—was deep and abiding. Scott was a man of passion, full of energy, and the spark at every gathering.
Whether organizing adventures, cheering on the Rams, or writing music on his guitar, he lived life to the fullest. His entrepreneurial spirit reflected his willingness to take risks, dream big, and lift others along the way.
His generosity in times of success created unforgettable memories for family and friends alike. In recent years, Scott experienced a powerful spiritual transformation that brought him peace and a renewed sense of purpose.
He found strength and joy in his growing relationship with his Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, a change that those around him describe as nothing short of miraculous. His faith journey was inspiring and became a light to others.
Scott is survived by his wife, Jenni, and his children: Avrie, Cynthia, Faye, Tess, and Scottie, as well as his stepchildren Christian and Ellery. He is also survived by his parents, Norm and Cindy Nemrow, and siblings Christy (Briggs), Stephen, David, and Peter.
A viewing will be held on Friday, August 1st, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Nelson Family Mortuary in Provo. Another viewing will take place Saturday morning from 9:00 to 10:30 AM, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 AM at the LDS chapel on 345 E 4525 N, Provo.
